Our Approach to Professional Fees
Every legal matter is different. The professional fee applicable to your matter will depend on the nature of the service, its complexity, the scope of work required, urgency and other relevant considerations.
Following consultation and assessment, Attorneys Klinique will explain the proposed scope of work and applicable professional fees before the engagement proceeds. Any applicable statutory charges, government fees, court fees, filing fees or third party disbursements will be clarified separately where appropriate.
All professional fees and engagement arrangements are subject to applicable Nigerian law and the relevant legal practitioners’ remuneration requirements.

Questions about our services
How are professional fees decided?
Every matter is different. After a consultation and an assessment of your matter, we explain the proposed scope of work and the professional fee before the engagement proceeds, taking into account the nature of the service, its complexity, the work required and its urgency. Statutory charges, government fees, court fees and other third party expenses are clarified separately where they apply.
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. Your first consultation, 45 minutes with a partner, is free until 30 November 2026. It is open to every client. The booking page shows whether it applies to you. After that date, the consultation fee is shown on the booking page before you pay.
Can I use these services from outside Nigeria?
Yes. Many of our clients live abroad. Consultations take place by video call or phone, documents can be shared and signed remotely or before a notary or Nigerian mission where the law requires it, and our lawyers can carry out searches, site visits and filings in Nigeria on your behalf.
Does an enquiry mean you are my lawyer?
No. A lawyer client relationship exists only under a signed letter of engagement or a paid service, and an enquiry is not acceptance of instructions. Until then, please do not treat this page or our reply to an enquiry as legal advice on your matter, and do not wait for us before acting on an urgent deadline.
Our fees follow the Legal Practitioners Remuneration Order 2023. Discounts never take a fee below the Order's minimum. This page is general information, not legal advice. Statutory fees, government charges, court fees, filing fees, search fees, taxes and third party expenses may be separate where applicable.
