A simple will drafted by a lawyer
Write a will in Nigeria with a lawyer who takes your instructions, drafts it in plain words and guides you through signing it properly so it is valid.
A valid will drafted by a lawyer so your family is not left to fight over what you leave behind.
We take your instructions in a private meeting or video call, draft a will that names your executors and sets out who gets what, and guide you through signing it properly in front of witnesses so it is valid. This is for a straightforward estate: a home, savings, a business and personal items, without trusts or foreign assets. We tell you when to review it.

Common questions
What makes a will valid in Nigeria?
A will must be in writing and signed by the person making it in the presence of two witnesses who are present at the same time and who also sign. A beneficiary, or the spouse of a beneficiary, should not act as a witness, because a gift to a witness can fail. The person making the will must understand what they are doing and act freely.
What happens if I die without a will in Nigeria?
Your property passes under the rules of intestacy, which depend on the law that governs your estate and, for some people, on customary law. Your family would need letters of administration before they can deal with the estate, which takes longer and can lead to disputes. A will lets you decide who gets what and who manages it.
Can I make a will from abroad?
Yes. We take your instructions by video call, prepare the will and guide you on signing it with two witnesses where you are, or before a notary or the Nigerian mission where that is the safer course for the property involved.
