Common questions
What does a contract review cover?
Who the parties are and whether they are who they say they are, what you must do and what you get, payment terms, how long it lasts, how either side can end it, penalties and liability, confidentiality, the dispute clause and the governing law, and any clause that is unusual for the kind of deal. You get a plain summary and a list of changes to ask for.
How quickly can you review my contract?
We confirm the turnaround when we receive the document, because it depends on its length and how urgent your signing date is. Tell us the deadline when you send it.
Can you negotiate the changes for me?
The review gives you the wording to propose and the reasons behind it. If you would like us to negotiate directly with the other side, we agree that as a separate step.
